Rewrite

If you’ve ever written something, anything, it feels like an accomplishment. Taking words and organizing them in a way that connects with a reader feels great. Often for me, the first draft wouldn’t connect with an audience so well. In fact, outside only a select few, nobody reads this draft. I recently was given great notes on a first draft that will make my screenplay better. But you know what? I’m tired. That feeling of completing a first draft is terrific! Then the work starts. I didn’t write this to complete a first draft.I wrote it to connect with an audience and they are still out there waiting. So, let’s get to it. What about you? How is the rewrite going?
